Reiki is a Japanese form of energy healing, meaning “Universal Life Force Energy.” This type of therapy is hands off, working with the chakras and energy systems.
Everyone has seven major chakras, and five major energy bodies. Strong emotions or certain traumatic experiences can tend to stay stuck in our bodies if the energy is not dealt with. Reiki aids in bringing those emotions or situations to the surface, allowing us to move through that energy. Emotions are not negative or positive, they come up at different times in our life for a reason. We must feel through each emotion to better understand what it’s trying to tell us.
